During ASLP Dairy project LPS-2010-007, village based seed enterprises were developed to provide sources of high quality berseem clover seed (for winter fodder). Thus local farmers who are engaged in these enterprises were able to profit from the sale of superior quality seed. They could also harvest forage to feed to their own animals, with any excess sold to neighbouring farmers. 2015
