The aim of this scoping study was to explore the opportunity to improve the livelihoods of smallholders in arid and saline areas of Pakistan through the introduction of the AnamekaTM old man saltbush varieties. The report includes “The potential role of halophytic shrubs in small ruminant systems in Pakistan – a review of the literature and future opportunities”. This explores the potential to link the decades-long partnership on saltbush with new ACIAR research on Goats and Sheep in Pakistan. 2019
