The report provides a useful summary of the severity and complexity of salinity in Pakistan and Australia and the options for addressing it. It notes the limited uptake of research findings and the need to understand farmers attitudes towards changing their land-use practices. It also suggests that policies may be required to incentivise farmers to adopt the research findings. 2007
