Secondary data

Cost of Cultivation Data

State-wise Cost of Cultivation Data for years 2004-05 to 2015-16 of more than 20 major crops grown in India. This resource also has plot-level data on the cost of cultivation of these crops for years 2000-01 to 2013-14.

Cost of cultivation data is used to set the minimum support prices (MSP) of crops. This rich dataset can also be used to get data on input use intensity, farm-harvest prices and net returns from different crops over time.
