BRÍO is being developed in collaboration between African and Australian crop breeders in ACIAR project CROP/2018/132
BRÍO is a breeding method which achieves very high rates of genetic gain over multiple cycles in self-pollinating crops. BRÍO was modelled in Cowling et al. (2019) and validated in the field in Cowling et al. (2023) – see “Publications”.
