In September, our IPI-SAHC Fellow Researcher Melodie Ruwet, travelled to Cape Town for the 8th World One Health Congress to present a poster on a mapping review of Animal Health in the Indo-Pacific and had the opportunity to discuss some of the preliminary findings during the posters networking session on day 1 of the conference.
We took this opportunity to introduce our project, network and connect with stakeholders from Regional Organisations, National Governments, NGOs and Academia. We are hoping to build and strengthen these relationships across the Indo-Pacific region to facilitate cross-learning and collaboration not just in the Indo-Pacific region but around the world. We are looking forward to keeping building these partnerships as our research on Animal Health and One Health progresses over the next couple of years.
