Action Plan Clinic Discussion Groups<\/p>\n

Each country\/region team (Dak Lak, Son La, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia) spend 30 mins in discussion on each topic with key resource persons. Initial ideas on activities for 2018-2019 will be refined in conjunction with the resource persons.<\/p>\n

Expected Outcomes are that each country\/region team will have a refined action plan for project activities in 2018-2019. After the action plan clinic discussion groups, teams will prepare their summary action plans and report back on these in the morning of Day 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Field Trip<\/p>\n

Purpose:  To allow participants to observe field trial sites in Xayabouly and to interact with value chain actors in the value chain of fresh cassava and dried chip export to Thailand.<\/p>\n

What we will see: cassava farms, cassava chip production facilities, cassava export facilities, project agronomic trial sites<\/p>\n

Who we will meet: farmers, traders, exporters, local government officials<\/p>\n

Expected outcomes: Participants gain a greater understanding of project interactions with the cassava value chain in Kenthao, participants gain a greater understanding of the agronomic trials being undertaken in Kenthao district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
